It seems many people (even well-trained photographers) have a fear of flash photography.
With the proper training, flashes offer photographers the ability to control their lighting in almost all situations and they provide almost as much versatility as studio strobes.
In this live lecture RMSP Instructor Jesse Boone goes over the basics of using a flash and shows the audience just how simple it can be to use your flash in a variety of situations. He begins by discussing why flashes are important, transitions into showing some of the useful equipment for being a successful flash photographer and concludes with discussing the important camera settings to use when shooting with a flash.
