Maureen Roy, SI ’06 is a portrait and wedding photographer based in Missoula, MT. She was hooked on studio lighting after buying some second-hand strobes at a yard sale, then taking Intro to Studio Lighting with Heather Anne Thomas in 2005. She attended summer intensive the next year (’06) and opened her studio, Maureen Roy Photography, that winter. Maternity photography has always been her passion, especially when little brothers or sisters come along. When she is not toting a camera around, she is “wife” to Andy, “mom” to Madelyn and Thomas, and “that woman who feeds us” to her dog and two extremely fat cats.
