About the Author

Jimmy White was born in 1970 in Bradenton, Florida. His interest in photography began at an early age when his father gave him a used Canon FT and Jimmy has been working toward perfecting his craft ever since. In 2009 after 12 years of practicing law as an estates and trusts attorney, Jimmy decided to change his life’s focus and resigned from practicing law to devote his time and energy to photography. He completed the Career Training program at Rocky Mountain School of Photography in Missoula, Montana in 2009. While in Montana, Jimmy trained with many renowned professional photographers and developed a special interest in the power of photography to support environmental conservation initiatives. He is now a professional freelance photographer based in Bradenton specializing in nature and wildlife imagery. Jimmy is an avid surfer, scuba diver and fisherman.
