Wearin’ o’ the Green – Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

If green isn’t your particular color, then wearing it on St. Patrick’s Day is good enough excuse as any to break out of a rut…at least for a little while.  This festive day of celebration of the Emerald Isle and the Irish heritage optimistly announces the coming of Spring splendidly with greener pastures – literally – soon to appear right around the next bend – figuratively – in time. In many parts of the Northern Hemisphere, nature is eager to abundantly scream “green!”

Do yourself a favor and celebrate a warming trend in your personal creative life by aiming at the color green with your camera. Feel free to to post your results on the RMSP Facebook page. We’d love to see the Irish in everybody captured in images. In the meantime, a hardy “Erin Go Bragh” to you,  and wishing you all a safe and happy St. Patty’s Day!

Bob McGowan
A Southern California native, Bob came to Montana and to RMSP as a Career Training student in 2004 to attend both the Summer and Digital Intensive courses. His love of photography began in high school and he decided that a career change in pursuit of this passion was in store after spending the previous 20 years of employment in retail management. After completing the program, Missoula felt like home to him so he pursued a job on staff with the school, and as a result, currently holds the Programs Specialist position. His day-to-day activities at the school involve discussing photography with many like-minded individuals interested in learning more about their passion.
