If you’ve been thinking about pursuing your dream of becoming a professional photographer and have been looking into our 20-week Career Training program, we have an event coming up that will point you in the right direction.
We will be holding a Career Training Information Day and Open House in our facilities in Missoula, MT, on March 10, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. We’ll throw open our doors to all who would like to join us for a day full of fun and informative activities.
Circle Saturday, March 10 on your calendars and prepare to be welcomed by our friendly staff who will provide you with a wealth of helpful information. The day will begin with an overview of our Career Training program, and will include a tour of the teaching facilities where the Career Training experience takes place, from our classrooms to computer labs to our high-tech print lab. Also included is a live studio lighting demo – with a professional model – put on by 2011 Career Training graduate Dan Doran. There will also be a professional talk titled “Becoming a Pro,” put on by instructor Jeff McLain.
Later in the afternoon, RMSP co-founder and co-owner, Neil Chaput de Saintonge will hold a helpful image critique for all attendees who bring images with them in digital format. To conclude the day, we will take a short walk “off-campus” to the Missoula Art Museum where Neil will give us a private tour of the fantastic exhibit, “Ansel Adams: A Legacy.” Neil studied with Ansel in the ’70s and will talk about the work of this iconic photographer.
As you can see, this is going to be a tremendous opportunity to see who we are and what RMSP can do for you. We hope you’ll be able to join us!
