The Dallas/Fort Worth area of the big ol’ state of Texas harbors some mighty fine cultural experiences for the arts in general, and photography is definitely not excluded. In addition to the economic advantages of earning a living in this thriving metropolis, there are many performing arts venues, museums and activities to keep the local populace, and visitors alike, engaged for eons. Throw in a Texas-style BBQ or cowboy-laden rodeo or two and you’ll find a whole heck of a lot of subject matter to aim your camera at. This appreciation for photography is one of the reason why we can’t stay away and it’s time to return with one of our Photo Weekend events. This time around, the capable instructor team of Tony Rizzuto and Eileen Rafferty will impart their wisdom and wit upon the audience. We always have a great showing of very enthusiastic participants when we visit there, and we draw folks from all over Texas and even neighboring states. Maybe you’ll be one of them and join us?
If interested in keeping your focus – pun intended – on photography after the weekend, consider joining one of the active groups below in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. What better way to stay active yourself than by staying involved with like-minded enthusiasts!
