The dynamic fine art masters of light at night, instructors Tim Cooper and Gabe Biderman, are set to host one heck of a workshop for RMSP in March 2012 called Vegas to Zion: Dusk to Dawn. What can one expect from this experience with these two at the helm? First of all, their focus will be to help you creatively explore these scenic locations at the prime time of their brilliance and beauty – in the dark. Tim and Gabe have plenty of experience creating images in these amazing environments. Between the two of them, they’ll show you how to slow down your thought processes, pre-visualize and then capture both the sites of this lively city and the celestial landscapes that can be found in one of nature’s wondrous playgrounds. And don’t expect a boring time. A Tim & Gabe collaboration usually results in plenty of inspiration and laughter. To give you just a taste, below is a gallery of Tim’s incredible work from Las Vegas and Zion at night.
And as if the experience itself wasn’t enough, check this out! We are excited to announce that thanks to instructor and B&H Photo/Video/Audio affiliate, Gabe Biderman, Lensbaby will supply all of our participants with loaner Lensbabies (because he loves to shoot the neon with them). AND at the end of the course the student with the best Lensbaby image will win a Lensbaby Composer. All attendees will have access to Lensbaby Composers during the workshop to help inspire their night visions from Vegas to Zion. How cool is that?!
