Hellooooo Minneapolis!

Whenever we return to Twin Cities area with one of our Photo Weekends, there’s always a darn good reason; the most important being we simply can’t get enough of the enthusiastic people who join us there! Many of our Career Training alumni hail from the region, and as invited guests to the Weekend, they help add to the family atmosphere our school is known for.  Also, the region is a diverse mix of ethnic culture, academics, and art-based institutions. With a very active photography community being a mainstay in Minnesota, we’re excited to bring the RMSP experience there as often as we can.

If you are from the area, below is a list of just a few of the numerous photography organizations you may want to check out if you don’t happen to belong to one already. Being a member of an active camera club or group provides an excellent means to connect with other passionate enthusiasts and artists. What better way to stay inspired with your photography!

Twin Cities Photography Group
North Metro Photo Club
Saint Paul Camera Club
Little Crow Photography Club

About the Author

Bob McGowan
A Southern California native, Bob came to Montana and to RMSP as a Career Training student in 2004 to attend both the Summer and Digital Intensive courses. His love of photography began in high school and he decided that a career change in pursuit of this passion was in store after spending the previous 20 years of employment in retail management. After completing the program, Missoula felt like home to him so he pursued a job on staff with the school, and as a result, currently holds the Programs Specialist position. His day-to-day activities at the school involve discussing photography with many like-minded individuals interested in learning more about their passion.
