Here in Montana, it’s known as “Big Sky Country” and for good reason. There’s always something different going on in the sky from moment to moment, day to day, week to week, etc. With another change of seasons upon us, our optimistic selves thought it would be a good time to encourage you to get outside and look up! What’s going in your daily sky? Fly-by’s by winged aircraft? Birds of a feather? Fire and smoke? Cloud collages? Leaves taking flight? Celestial bodies in rotation?
With this assignment, the sky’s the limit…literally. Specifically, we will ask you to submit 3 to 5 images that tell the story of the sky above in your own environment.
We encourage to do so in real time for the purposes of this assignment and not simply go back to your image vault. There will be other times we will open an assignment for older images, just not this one. We really would like to see your personal version of Big Sky Country in your own neck of the woods. Any sky-related images are acceptable.
Please send all submissions to email@example.com. All images should be in jpeg format, 72 ppi, with the longest side of your image measuring 600px.
