Alumni Friday: Rita Pignato

Rita Pignato is a fine art photographer with an emphasis on landscape, travel, architecture, street photography and printing. Rita spent thirty years in the print production business before fully pursuing her passion for photography. She always loved photography, but life and her career put her love of the art on the back burner. Rita took numerous photography workshops before deciding to attend the Career Training program in 2009.

Being a fine art photographer isn’t easy, but  Rita has done an impressive job of getting her work out there.  She has had work displayed in several group and two-person exhibitions over the years including a two-person exhibition at the Rocky Mountain School of Photography Gallery. Most recently, a series of Rita’s images of the Madonna is highlighted in B&W and Color magazine’s September 2011 issue.
