Alumni Friday: Ryan Mastro
Ryan Mastro is the kind of alumni that makes me want to quit my day job and follow my dreams, even the crazy ones. After completing the Career Training program in 2005, Ryan combined his love of music with his newly refined skills of photography. His sense of composition and ability to capture the essence of a performance in his images lead to jobs as an official photographer for music festivals such as Bonnaroo, Coachella and the Newport Folk Festival. His work has also been published in Spin, Billboard, Paste and Photo District News. He has won numerous awards including coming in first in the Performance Category of the 2009 Billboard and PDN’s Year in Music Moments Photography Competition.
